Twas the night before Christmas...

I've just made a batch of christmas cards for a friend who loves a truly nostaligic christmas with cards that are classic and not overdone. I found a lovely little cd on ebay with copyright free images and decided to have a play.
The main materials I used were:
  • 250gsm white card to make the cards
  • Mirror board - gold and silver
  • Papermania - Joyeux Noel 12x12 paper set
  • Usual crafting basics such as cutting tools; double sided tape and foam pads
  • Oh yes... lots and lots of glitter and ribbon
*The holly any ivy leaves were embossed using the Crafters Companion Christmas boards.






Then, just to add to the fun I did a couple of Forever Friends cards, again quite classic (I would have loved to embellish even more!!). I have the FF 3 disc CD which is full of the most fantastic designs. It takes me longer to choose the bear and papers than to make the card!! The first card is pyramage and I've added some silver mirror board that I've embossed using a sizzix folder. The second has embossed backing - again sizzix and decoupage image on top.
